Draft proposed new constitution

The MAV Council have been working on a proposed new Constitution for the Association. This process has been ongoing for the past 12 months. MAV engaged Mills Oakley Lawyers who are experienced in developing constitutions for the NFP sector, to guide the Council through a very thorough process to ensure that the proposed new constitution is legally sound, and will cater for the needs of MAV and its members into the future.

This process is nearing final stages of preparation, and a proposed new constitution will be put to members to adopt by vote at the 2019 AGM.

If you have any feedback or questions on the draft they should be sent to Peter Saffin, CEO for review.  psaffin@mav.vic.edu.au or 0403 600 120

The proposed Constitution and a document outlining the differences to the current constitution is  available here.
